With over 20 years of hands-on experience in power generation, mining, scaffolding, and rigging, Mark McKinnon is a seasoned Site Manager known for his reliability, leadership, and solutions-oriented mindset. At Mighty Lagg, Mark is recognised for his ability to build strong relationships with both staff and clients, and for consistently lifting project standards through clear communication and a focus on teamwork.
A staunch advocate for safety, Mark ensures compliance through rigorous audits and is always on call to address challenges as they arise. He’s especially proud of successfully managing the largest shutdown ever undertaken by Mighty Lagg at the Mount Piper Power Station in 2025—a complex dual outage where his leadership and innovation were critical to success.
Beyond the job site, Mark enjoys restoring award-winning classic cars, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He’s also a devoted caregiver to his extended family and beloved dogs
